Bespoke jeweller serving Peterborough, Stamford and the surrounding areas. I specialise in all kinds of jewellery commissions, jewellery remodelling and jewellery repair work, in gold, silver and platinum.
I have over 15 years of experience in the jewellery industry, so you can be sure your jewellery will be in safe hands, and I love a challenge – there’s no job too big or too small!
What we do
Design
From a choice of initial hand drawn design sketches created especially for you, through selecting stones to the final polish – I’ll guide you through every stage.
Create
I have almost 20 years of experience at the bench making jewellery, and all jewellery pieces are handmade by me in my Peterborough based workshop.
Remodel
I specialise in remodelling existing jewellery, giving a new lease of life to worn out or unloved pieces. Do you have broken earrings or rings that don’t fit? Or maybe even just pieces that you’re tired of wearing or aren’t your style anymore, i can turn them into something completely new, using your original gold and any gemstones you may have.
Repair
Worn out settings? chipped or loose stones? broken links? rings too small? I can carry out all types of jewellery repair and jewellery alteration work in house in my peterborough workshop
About Us
With over a decade spent at the bench, I thought it was about time I took the plunge and started selling my own work. Designed and made in my Peterborough studio, Oakland Jewellery is the result of years of experience in both contemporary jewellery design and traditional hand making skills. I find inspiration in all sorts of unexpected places, often surprised with an idea when i least expect it.
It’s impossible to beat nature though and I feel some of my most successful pieces are little more than frameworks for some truly beautiful natural gems and pearls. I take real pleasure in the practical side of jewellery, happiest getting my hands dirty at the bench and seeing a piece come to life as I work.

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Wendy Booth of Oakland Jewellery. I had a ring that was given to me when I was 11 years old and my Nan passed away. I started wearing it in my 20’s and about 6-7 years ago one gem fell out, followed by 2 more in quick succession and then I lost a 4th. I was understandably distraught but on shopping around I was being quoted costs of around £700 – £800 which I couldn’t warrant. On meeting Wendy at a networking event I showed her my ring and she quoted a much lower costs to fix the ‘arms’ and replace the gems. Within less than a week it was returned to me and in perfect condition. The ring was stunning and I was thrilled. I showed lots of friends and everyone was so impressed. Wendy even created a video so I could see how the work was done from start to finish and the amazing talents that she has. I would highly recommend Wendy for any jewellery repairs and I thank her again for returning my Nan’s wonderful ring. I will use you again!

Wendy is amazing ... I had a ring from my 21st birthday which I just didn’t wear because it was set in yellow gold. Wendy redesigned it completely, giving prices for silver white gold and platinum, and I couldn’t wait to say yes!!! The result is spectacular!! So many fabulous comments for my original piece. The ring is now firmly back on my finger where it should be and is not coming off anytime soon. Will not go anywhere else from now on until I’ve spoken to the oracle for advice and guidance first !! I would like to thank you for the fantastic jewellery which you designed, made, and boxed up for me, as a present to my girlfriend for Christmas. The whole process was very professional from start to finish. The initial conversation was for me to give a little detail about who the gift was for, what sort of ideas I had, and what I did not want! Wendy then gave me a couple of potential pricing brackets and then after my choosing she showed me some amazing visual representations to choose from. I was immediately drawn to one of the images and I let Wendy know my choice which she then set about making. The resulting dragonfly stylized bracelet was beautifully made with care, thought and passion. Which all comes through in the jewellery. All made in quicker time than suggested and I was so pleased with the result, which looked just like the visuals.
